Hi! I’m Joe,

I am the author of several chapter book series, to include The Junior Monster Scouts, Night Frights, and Creature Campers, as well as the Peanut Butter & Brains picture book series.

I'm also on the faculty at the University of Nevada, Reno low-residency MFA program and I am the Writing Coordinator and an English Professor at Blue Ridge Community and Technical College in West Virginia.

I put this site together to write my way through my battle with esophageal cancer and I hope you'll join me by reading along and posting comments when it strikes you.
